Because of the generosity of our communities, we have raised $16 million to build a permanent St. Croix Valley Food Bank facility, allowing us to more than double our impact and serve more neighbors facing hunger across western Wisconsin.
The St. Croix Valley Food Bank is the ONLY distribution hub for hunger relief programs in Burnett, Pierce, Polk, and St. Croix counties.
But while the building is nearly complete, our work is just beginning. Your help is needed. We are responding to the needs of our communities with the construction of a permanent, energy-efficient regional food bank facility in the St. Croix Business Park in Hudson.
The 42,000 sq. ft. facility will provide:
Nearly 10x the current refrigeration and freezer capacity
Optimized loading docks, warehouse flow, and repacking room
Expanded support for hunger relief partners & critical programs
Equitable access to nutritious food for more families
Our goal is to complete construction on the new facility by December 2026. Every gift to this campaign brings us closer to that milestone. Pledged gifts of $1,000 and above will be acknowledged in a donor wall installation at the new headquarters. Pledged gifts of $250,000+ may be considered for potential naming opportunities.
